Program 1: Little Skill Builders  9:30 to 11am $85 (Boys & Girls, Ages 4-6)
From Little Acorns do Mighty Oaks Grow-- our youngest Catalyst program to get a great jump start in the game. Catalyst Soccer's Little SkillBuilder Program is an excellent course on becoming a fundamentally sound, young soccer player–regardless of beginning skill or experience level. All boys and girls (ages 4-6) who have the desire to become better players are welcome. Taught by a staff of top local youth coaches and collegiate players who show "by example" how to become a more skillful player. Topics covered include simple moves, turns, fakes, many ball-control techniques and fun soccer-related games for your new soccer player. (includes training shirt )

Program 2: Super Fundamentals 9am to Noon $135 (Boys & Girls, Ages 6-14)   
A great summer soccer camp that features professional instruction to give your kids the superb learning they need to develop in the beautiful sport of soccer. Players will be grouped in appropriate age and skill levels. The camp will cover all aspects of the game with special emphasis on the fundamentals of passing, shooting, dribbling, and good defensive habits and many contests and fun soccer related games to challenge and excite the young player to new levels! Directed by U.C. Santa Cruz’s, Men’s Coach, Dan Chamberlain, along with other talented and dedicated local youth coaches, including current collegiate players from U.C. Santa Cruz’s growing Men’s and Women’s Soccer Programs. (includes training shirt)

Program 3: Advanced Scoring and Attacking/Goalkeepers
Boys and Girls, U12 ages 7-11, 9 to 11 am, $95 and U16 ages 12-15, 12 to 2pm, $95
ONE WEEK ONLY! During the month of July Catalyst Soccer will be offering a one-week camp for the motivated player who wishes to train for competitive levels of soccer. These camps are especially designed for Comp and Select-level players and teams. Our most popular camps of the summer designed for the accelerated development of those youth players motivated to play at higher levels (Comp and Class 1), now or in the future. The camp’s main focus is to improve a player’s offensive impact and effectiveness in scoring and creating goals and goal-scoring chances (crosses and creative running without the ball). Technical training on different types of shots, passes and moves to beat defenders will be emphasized. These weeks are about the mentality, the composure, and the confidence to score and create goals for your team! Special team discounts are given to those teams that bring ten or more players from their team. Team Coach or Manager should call for details. These camps fill up quickly as numbers are limited, so early registration is recommended. (includes training shirt)

Goalkeeper Training
Goalkeeping is considered one of soccer’s most exiting and integral positions. Technical and tactical goalkeeper training at Catalyst is designed for both the experience youth keeper as well as those with beginning interests in the position. The Catalyst Goalkeeper training consists of technical and tactical training as well as an invitation to receive functional training fielding shots and “tending the net”. Collegiate level goalkeepers will provide the best instruction available. Cost of this Catalyst GK program is only $135 and includes a long sleeve training shirt.

Santa Cruz County 2009 Spring Development Programs
NEW! Team Development Program Boys and Girls, all ages
Cost: $110 per player for 10 sessions Any camp week (M-F 9am-12noon), $110 for ten or more players. You must contact us via email or phone to register.This summer, Catalyst is proud to provide a new program geared toward the development of players within a team as a whole. For years Catalyst has offered similar team training sessions behind the scenes. Starting in March, teams have the ability to train once a week with some of the top youth and college coaches available in the Central Coast, as a team. We will emphasize similar techniques and tactics to our Premier Development Program, including individual ball skill, problem solving, and short-sided games, but will be available in your own private team training session. Catalyst will also look to work closely with the team's coach on tactical concepts to help the team defend with organization, transition with urgency, and be dynamic in attack.

Each week will cover different topics in fun and creative ways to help stimulate the young soccer minds. Some weeks will even be coached by exciting special guest coaches!
