In the tradition of the first... a great way to start off the new year with a soccer camp that features professional instruction to give your kids the superb learning they need to develop in the beautiful sport of soccer. Players will be grouped in appropriate age and skill levels.
The camp will cover all aspects of the game with special emphasis on the fundamentals of passing, shooting, and dribbling. As well, each player will be introduced to the futsal version of soccer, which is played indoors around the world especially in the soccer rich country of Brazil, emphasizing skill and tight ball control.
It is sure to challenge and excite the young player to new levels!
The Catalyst Soccer Club is a local soccer development club directed by Cal Poly’s Head Men’s Coach, Paul Holocher, former Major League Soccer player with the San Jose Clash and Chicago Fire. Paul along with other talented and dedicated local youth coaches will provide superb instruction for all young soccer players.
In case of rain, play will be in gym or campers will be given Catalyst Soccer Club credit for future camps. Players should bring water, soccer shoes, tennis shoes, ball and a great attitude.The Catalyst Soccer Club is a local professional youth soccer training club that is dedicated to the long-term development of the motivated young players of Santa Cruz County!
