Devon Tomson

Devon, a native of Red Hook New York has recently joined the Catalyst Soccer family after a fruitful start to his career in the greater New York area. As a varsity player for Springfield College in Massachusetts, Devon was named as Junior Varsity Captain while obtaining his BA in Physical Education and Coaching from one of the most prolific colleges in his field. Devon is currently continuing his education by studying for his Masters degree in Physical Education and Coaching from Canisius College.

Since the start to his coaching career Devon has obtained his NSCAA National Diploma and spent time with Coerver Coaching of New York. Devon has spent his last four fall seasons as the Associate Head Men’s Soccer coach for Bard College in Red Hook NY, where he was a part of the 6th most improved soccer program in the NCAA for 2006. Devon has won both Gold and Silver medals with the Boys and Girls Scholastic Soccer Teams for the Empire State Games (NYS Olympics). Most recently Devon was a head coach with the Eastern NY Olympic Development Program, as well as a part of the coaching staff for Middlepath Premiere FC in Poughkeepsie NY.
