Monterey County 2010 Spring Development Programs
Rain or Shine - Come out & have some fun! Program 1: Super Skills
The Catalyst Soccer Club’s popular Spring Skill Builders Program is an excellent course on becoming a fundamentally sound, young soccer player – regardless of beginning skill or experience level. All boys and girls (ages 7-14) who have the desire to become better players are welcome. This eight-part skills developmental program is designed to help the young player become confident and creative with their soccer skills. Taught by a staff of top local youth coaches and collegiate players who show “by example” how to become a more skillful player. Topics covered include individual ball skills such as moves, turns, 1v1 dribbling skills; fundamental soccer skills such as, passing, collecting, and shooting the ball; and many small sided games allowing players to simulate real game situations while maximizing their “touches on the ball.”
